We all love this feeling when you’ve just finished your last piece of work before going on well deserved 2 weeks holidays.
I’m still working on living the holiday mood every day (not having to do anything apart from what fulfils my soul, relaxes me and brings me joy and happiness) but in the meantime over last few days I was enjoying a hunt for some holiday accessories. I’m not a massive fashion girl, but this time I felt hungry for bright, neon colours and as I was getting some basics in Primark, without expecting much I decided to try colourful Primark nail varnishes.
My favourite nail polish range is Rimmel Lycra Pro and I have quite a lot of shades but unfortunately they do not offer satisfying enough choice of bright, holiday colours therefore I was forced to try something new.
Rimmel Lycra Pro is a winner for me because it’s long lasting (up to 3 days in perfect condition) and doesn’t chip in a regular way but it kind of fades on the edges instead which doesn’t look as obviously horrible as many other nail polishes I tried (including OPI and China Glaze) and in total I can wear it for around 5 days without looking trumpy :)
How surprised I was when £1 Primark “P.S. Nail Polish” performed almost equally on my nails as Rimmel Lycra Pro and lasted 3 days without chipping.

£2.5 “Angelica” however didn’t impress me as much, but still it was more than I was expecting - 2 days in perfect condition and then it started chipping on the edges (but for that juicy, intensive pink colour I forgive her).

I need to mention I always buffer my nails and apply a base coat before putting any nail varnish on which definitely make it last longer.
