Coconut oil and Bee Pollen for quicker ‘off the Pill’ recovery?

Few days ago I came across a very interesting dietary suggestion for a post Pill deregulated body. In The Holy Kale post titled 'Getting Off Birth Control Pills? Now What?' (click to read the original) among others such as eliminating xenoestrogens and supplementing complex of B vitamins,  the author suggests to include healthy saturated fat (such as coconut oil) and Bee or Flower Pollen rich in bioflavonoids into the diet.

The suggestion intrigued me because I already know and practice the rest of the points listed by the author but above two were an interesting surprise. After a further research I found out that indeed, the body and more precisely the liver uses saturated fats to actually make hormones and uses bioflavonoids as hormones building blocks. Taking them daily helps to bring back the hormonal balance in the woman’s body.

I didn’t have to think long, I dug a jar of organic coconut oil from the back of my cupboard which I have bought few months ago but didn’t really use much and I bought a bag of bee pollen from a nearby health food store. Regardless the fact I will probably not be able to tell whether including them into my post Pill diet will really have an effect on my hormones getting back into balance, adding them will certainly cause no harm.

My Ankles Before and After Massage - More Photos

Under my video where I show how I slimed down my ankles and calves with simple massage (you can find it here : How To Slim Down Your Ankles and Calves With Simple 1.5 Minute Massage ) I recently have been asked to provide some more photos showing the after effect. Below you can find a couple of photos of my ankles that I made today morning (note I don't do the massage every day anymore, just once or twice a week to maintain the results): I'm standing flat in my flip-flops: And in a different light: Below you can see my ankles before and after in the same pose (in flat flip-flops) and pretty much the same proportions: And the same picture but smaller (photo on the left is not the best quality): I hope it is satisfactory for you and if you decide to play with this massage you will get similar results. Any questions, please ask :)

My Hair - October

Welcome to my second hair update, this time it is from the month October.  At the beginning of this month I finished my hair and nail supplements I was taking for the last 12 weeks and now I am having a break from tablets.  From the last just over 2 weeks I am regularly doing a two part hair mask which I keep on my head for around 30 minutes after washing with delicate shampoo:  For my scalp I mix WAX treatment and Jantar scalp tonic (it is a Polish product that has tons of positive feedback online, however if used according to the instructions, my scalp just HATES IT - it becomes itchy and my hair fall out for the next few days after the use, but surprisingly I have great results if I mix it with the mask and apply just on my head.) At the same time I mix Biovax Latte with 2 drops of Argan Oil, a little bit of urea and Vitamine B3 and apply it on the rest of the hair.  2 weeks is still too short to see real results, but I can already say I have to...
